School Song

In our town of Broken Hill is our dear old Central school,
And we are so proud of our colours, black and white,
When we go forth in teams we’ll hold up the banner high,
And in all our sports and games we’ll try with all our might.

We’ll put our country first in all our prayers and thoughts,
We’ll love Australia and try to build her fame
In all our days at school, we’ll follow the golden rule
And deep in our hearts we’ll cherish……..Central, our school.

Our fathers mine Australia’s silver, lead and zinc,
And we descend from those pioneers who came from different lands,
They opened up this country, we’ll help to make it mighty,
For we are Australians, so proud and so free.
